Vision
To capacitate and mentor developing organizations in order to
meet their organisational goals and mission in their full capacity and become a
national mentorship organisation that caters for civil society and private
companies.
Background
T&P Training and Support Councelling Agency was conceived
in September 2004 by Mrs. Boemo Tladi, a qualified counsellor in psychology. Mrs
Tladi has extensive experience in community development as she has worked more
with OVC’s and cancer patients for the past 15 years. Realizing the scourge of
HIV/AIDS and its impact towards the Free State communities, she then initiated
the birth of the organization in response to this and the organization was
registered in October 2005.
T&P Training and Support Councelling
Agency has started providing training to community based organizations within
Botshabelo area during 2005. Many organizations were contacting Me. Tladi in
assisting them to properly and effectively run their different projects, and due
to the rising need for mentorship within most Community Based Organizations, a
voluntary service was offered to five (5) Community Based Organizations taking
care of Orphan and Vulnerable Children within certain areas of
Botshabelo.
During 2005, Me Tladi approached The Department of Social
Development to assist with funding in order to address the identified need
within Community Based Organisations that are located within
Botshabelo.
